Comments from Philip Boarer:
Q: What attracted you to enter The Great British RIB Rally 2010?
A: An adventure not to be missed, the freedom to cruise with like minded fools.
Q: What’s your normal day job?
A: Industrial/commercial fire detection or West Wittering on a windy day.
Q: Have you ever done anything this adventurous before?
A: Lucky enough to race in The 2008 Round Britain Powerboat Race and lots of cruises, but the Great BRITISH Rib Rally should top it off nicely, thank you!
Q: Which part of the Rally are you most looking forward to?
A: Irish coastline, going over the top and seeing Joe's face as we come back into the Solent after 2 weeks at sea, thinking, we actually did it.
Q: What are you going to miss most during the Rally?
A: A force 6 SW, high tide at West Wittering knowing I have missed a good day down at the office and without doubt the Wife.
Q: What’s your most favourite thing about your RIB?
A: The noisy open exhausts when I start the old girl up, sorry -
Q: What kind of music will you listen to on your way round?
A: That’s Joe's department, better go and get a stereo fitted.
