Comments from Rob Hancock:
Q: What attracted you to enter The Great British RIB Rally 2010?
A: Circumnavigating the UK and a great chance to raise the profile out of area and funds for Hope House.
Q: What’s your normal day job?
A: Group Managing Director of Bensons Ltd, a development and contracting company based in Bristol and Shrewsbury.
Q: Have you ever done anything this adventurous before?
A: Not really, got to be a first time for everything.
Q: Which part of the Rally are you most looking forward to?
A: Going the long way round in one event; Irish hospitality, Scottish scenery, and the final run in to Portland.
Q: What are you going to miss most during the Rally?
A: My wife, my three great children and my Blackberry.
Q: What’s your most favourite thing about your RIB?
A: The colour scheme (a subtle Orange with a hint of Grey!); it’s a re-designed Wahoo Barracuda 10 m, that Wayne Huntley, a naval architect and co-crew, has modified for endurance events, and the engines should be quite good fun too!
